CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 16, and entrants must reside in either Kincardine or Deeside area*. They are invited to submit 2 or 3-dimensional original works of artin any medium (except photography and digital imaging).
No copies or prints of existing art works
should be submitted.
Works should be of recent origin and not previously exhibited in this event.

Milton Gallery Award for 3-D
The Lost Gallery Award
The Sybil-Jean Swann Memorial Trophy
(People’s Choice) – donated by KDAF
Upper Deeside Art Society Award for 1st Time Exhibitor
Larks Gallery Award
Timmie Penny Young Artist Trophy
(Age 16-20 years)
These awards will be given out at the Preview on Friday 27th April
(except the People’s Choice, which will be given on
Sunday 13th May at 3pm).
Work Specifications:
All entries must be labelled with form attached (please copy as necessary).
2-D works must be framed and ready for hanging with D-rings and cord
(clip frames are not acceptable).
No work to be larger than 100 x 75 cm (approx. 3’ x 2.6’).
3-D items must be of a size and weight which are manageable by one person.

Opening hours are 10am -5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am -5pm on Sunday.

The KDAF Art Competition and Exhibition 2011
The annual KDAF Exhibition will be held from the 30th April until 15th May at the Milton Gallery, Crathes .

There are also two awards given by the Forum:
The Timmie Penny Young Artist Award (age 16-20)

The Enable Group from the Scolty Day Centre, Banchory, will have a display of their work at the Milton Gallery as part of the KDAF Exhibition.
‘Enable Scotland’ is a charity that works to help disabled people live, work and get involved in their communities.

KDAF art competition 2011 to be held at The Milton Art Gallery, Crathes, nr Banchory.
The annual Kincardine and Deeside Arts Forum art competition is an open event which provides an opportunity for those who may not have exhibitied before to show in a group show at the Milton Gallery.
Since 2003, KDAF has been fortunate to have the Milton Gallery as the venue for the Annual KDAF Open Exhibition and Competition.
Kincardine and Deeside has several excellent galleries and we are delighted to have a selection of these supporting the Forum as sponsors of the competition.
